Meet Zola's new cubs!

Meet Zola'a new cubs: Ajani ("he fights for possession"), Razi ("secret"), Dakari ("happiness") , and the female, Zarina ("golden"). The quadruplets were born on May 2, 2009. The cubs officially went on exhibit this Wednesday at the Virginia Zoo. I was able to get out there today to watch them. All of them are as full of pep and energy as you would expect from three month old cubs. Ajani is already eating meat, which I'm sure Zola must be thankful for (one less set of teeth).:)
I haven't figured how to tell all of them apart but rest assured as I did with Granby and Neka I will add names once I can identify them. I'm guessing the group of three who like to rough house are the boys, but who knows? Neka could be rambunctious when she was growing up, too!:D

Anyway, welcome to the second chapter of the Lion's Pride at the Virginia Zoo. I'm looking forward to watching them grow and I hope you do, too.
